Yorkicorns is the social group for bronies in and around York to meet monthly.
Yorkicorns is the York brony meetup.
Founded by Bexi and Maz in January 2024, Yorkicorns is a social meetup that aims to promote friendship amongst bronies in the York area and further afield.
The 13th Yorkicorns meetup will take place on Saturday 1st March 2025.
Details are to be confirmed nearer the time.

Yorkicorns has two mascots: Björk the York Yakicorn (yak with unicorn horn) and Freya the Valkyrie.
PiratPeter generously created the above reference sheet (full size here), showing Björk and Freya in all their glory. PiratPeter also created the crest of Yorkicorns (full size here), modelled on the coat of arms of the City of York council, but reshaped into a bubble tea with boba replacing the heraldic lions:

The twelth meet took place as planned on 1st February 2025.
The eleventh meet took place as planned on 11th January 2025.
The tenth meet took place as planned on 1st December 2024.
The ninth meet took place as planned on 2nd November 2024.
The eighth meet took place as planned on 14th September 2024.

In honour of Star Wars, and because it fits our normal schedule, the Yorkicorns met once more on May the fourth.
Saturday the 6th of April 2024, the warmest day of the year to date; a day ripe with potential, and the anticipation of yet another fun-filled Yorkicorn meet.
An astonishing 16 people chose to come to Yorkicorns #2, and I think it is fair to say we had a great time.
As Bexi and I waited for the bus into the city, we still weren’t quite sure what to expect for the first Yorkicorns meet. We knew that some people had begun their journeys hours earlier, but the questions of “how many people would come?” and “would it be fun?” still lingered.
